| Thank you for visiting my website. There’s information about books I’ve had published, what I’m working on at the moment and if you visit my teaching pages you will find some reflections on the craft of writing that I have distilled during twenty years of scratching a living with my pen. I’ve also tried to describe something about my chequered past because it so informs my present life. Please make yourself at home here and browse around. |

Writing:
As well as writing fiction and non fiction books, I also flirt with travel writing and have had an article about a trip to Cologne, Berlin and Belsen published in the Observer, and one about prospecting for gold in Western Australia published in the Daily Telegraph. |

In a moment of reckless abandon I’ve posted an extract from the novel I’ve just finished working on, called Where Women Sing, and the opening pages of The Dragonfly, which is the novel I’m writing at the moment. Constructive criticism welcome! |
